Simmer Down Now

There is this girl in my Russia class that drives everyone nuts. She could be nice, but she's just irritating. She's (probably) 26 with a short brown bob and New Balance sneakers, but that's not the irritating part. Any time our professor asks for us to respond to something or offer suggestions, she answers. That's not the worst part, either. The problem is that she answers so loudly and with such an exasperated expression that she sounds almost like she's just saying "DUH!" at a thousand decibels. It immediately takes the fun out of having an interactive lecturer if there is someone like this girl in the class. She needs to learn to raise her hand. Typically hand-raising is mastered by 4th grade, but she's approximately 17 years past that age, and needs a touch-up.
